“Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” (Ps. 73:25-26)
How many times have we found this to be true for us as well? Instead of staying away from worship when we sense ourselves to be spiritually lethargic, precisely what we need more than ever is the awakening of worship. When our hearts feel it least is when we need most to remind our souls, “For me it is good to be near God.” (Ps. 73:28)
Dear Friends,
Come join us to honor and praise the Lord by the power of the Holy Spirit each week that our souls will be satisfied and be blessed.
The gospel of Luke 4:16 says, “…Jesus went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day as was His custom.” Jesus kept His life centered on God through systematic worship. When we come to church we celebrate the story of our great redemption in Jesus Christ. As we celebrate our shoulders straighten, our pain subsides and we walk out into a difficult world more erect and confident knowing that our God has conquered. The bad will not last. GOD WILL ALWAYS PREVAIL! CHRIST HAS CONQUERED.
WE WORSHIP BECAUSE OF THE DIVINE EXAMPLE. JESUS WORSHIPED.
Worship Elements:
In addition to the clergy and laity working side by side in the reading of scripture, prayer and message, we draw closer to the Lord through our beautiful music ministry. Our paid staff leads a devoted volunteer ministry to offer choral and bell choir (adults and children) music to enhance the worship experience. There are always opportunities for soloists, instrumentalists and visiting musicians to be welcomed to add to our fellowship of musical folks sharing the joy of music to honor and glorify God.
