The Evangelism / Hospitality Committees consist of several members from within the church. All are welcome to participate.
Our main goal is to promote evangelism both within the church and through outreach opportunities to our surrounding community. As a hospitality committee, we also focus on ways to help visitors to our church feel welcome. We meet on a regular basis to plan ongoing and special events. Our committees help other ministry teams with their events as well. Through Christ we find ways to bring all together and encourage feelings of friendship and caring.
Some of the ongoing and special events we plan or assist with include a monthly coffee hour, dish to pass meals, honoring our local public service professionals, concerts. We also help distribute the monthly newsletter. Cards, notes and flowers are sent by members to encourage congregation members and friends in need. The committees have many other areas of interaction.
Finally, we encourage all to grow in faith. Worship regularly, participate, volunteer and financially support. Know God, Love God and Serve God.
