Devotion – March 21, 2020

Here is today’s word to command:

Verse: Deuteronomy 31:8. “The Lord himself will lead you and be with you. He will not fail you or abandon you, so do not lose courage or be afraid.”

  • Danger or times of trouble seem to speak louder than times of peace and so people get scared.
  • Yes Lord, we are feeling the pain.
  • You have had peace before and peace the Lord will bring back to the world.
  • These are times of Job and times of Gethsemane.
  • The Lord who suffered is the same who Rose.
  • Do not dwell on your loneliness but pray.
  • He surely will not fail you and the boat will not sink.
  • So do not be afraid or lose courage.
  • It is the Lord who speaks.

PRAYER: Look graciously, O Lord, upon your people who implore your mercy. Pour healing in our souls and in our bodies. We are getting scared Lord; stay with us as you protect us from this nasty pandemic. Heal the sick and grant those who have died the glory of your resurrection. We know you are our Lord and our saviour thus we hold unto you. In your mighty and healing hand we pray. AMEN.

Have a gracious weekend.
